I don't know that I'll be much of an active blogger, but so many things are converging at this point that I need to write some of these things down. Neo-neocon is certainly one of my inspirations; her journey reflects mine in a number of ways. What I see in the Middle East is also driving a lot of my need to think and write.

We've begun another phase of the Long War. The Gadsden Flag seems a particularly appropriate symbol to bear at this point. As a Navy veteran, I'm partial to the Navy Jack version.
Nowhere girl's #3 cat
Why "nowhere girl?" C. and I are in the 50's to 60's age range. We've had our job and health issues, so sometimes it feels like all of life is on indefinite hold. "Girl" rather than "woman" because it needed a one-syllable word, and because I still get the urge to be young once in a while.
"Now here" and "nowhere" is such a perfect ambiguity; if you've seen Miracles, you know why. Questions are always more important than answers. For the moment, I'm "now here."
